Stannah South Midlands & Home Counties service branch - your local lift company
The Stannah South Midlands & Home Counties service branch offers a comprehensive range of lift and stairlift services covering Milton Keynes, Luton, Slough, Stevenage, Reading, Northampton and Oxford - plus everywhere in between. We're part of an independent British family business that prides itself on providing local lift maintenance, breakdown and repair, delivering that personal touch and going the extra mile.
Servicing & repair for ALL types of lifts from ALL manufacturers
We know how important a working lift or stair lift is. Just like the rest of our business, our Brackley branch prides itself on thorough service visits as part of any service contract, ensuring every part is checked over and helping to prevent costly lift repair bills.
Whilst we’ve over 150 years of lift expertise, we’re also well known for stairlifts. We offer a chair lift repair and call-out service for Stannah models and those from other manufacturers. Plus our emergency breakdown cover will put your lift, stairlift, escalator or moving walkway back into service as quickly as possible.
Stairlift & lift maintenance contracts
We offer 3 standard maintenance contracts, designed to suit every need and budget, along with custom service contracts. Some of our contract customers include London Luton Airport, St Albans Council and WHCHT – Welwyn Hatfield Community Housing Trust. But we don’t only help contract customers! If you don’t have a service agreement, that’s not a problem, our experienced lift engineers can still help.
Lift refurbishment, lift modernisation & turn-key lift installation
We also get involved in lift refurbishment, lift modernisation and turn-key lift installation, regularly working with clients, consultants, architects and contractors and ensuring we deliver excellent customer service. With a dedicated account manager to take the process from start to finish and manage throughout.
From our base in Brackley, we look after thousands of lift, stairlifts, escalators and moving walkways, with a network of highly-trained local engineers covering the area. From the urban conurbation of Slough to the magnificent city of Oxford we’re available 24 hours, 365 days a year. Simply call us and we will do all we can to help.

Stannah passenger lift powers access to Luton culture
Wardown House Museum & Gallery, in Luton, Bedfordshire, caters for visitors of all mobilities – including wheelchair-users – thanks to a Stannah Maxilift MRLi (motor room-less) passenger lift. Built for busy environments, the 13-person hydraulic lift carries more people faster and higher than a standard passenger lift and helps Luton Borough Council meet the Equality Act requirements.
