Linking the ground floor reception area with the lower ground floor Leisure Club, this hydraulic platform lift has made the gym, pool, spa bath and steam room accessible to everyone – whether you’re a senior citizen, wheelchair user, bag laden buggy pusher or a kit stacked keep fitter!

After existing lift removal, a beautiful brand new lift replacement, the Stannah Midilift was swiftly installed in its place. The freestanding enclosure was erected with the minimum of builder’s work, even though the challenging location demanded a cantilever bracket to anchor the lift into to the central stairwell for added stability.

The wheelchair lift is easy to use with simple push-button controls located on the inside of the roomy 1100mm x 1400mm platform, so users have complete control throughout their journey.

Finished in a dazzling white, it features numerous safety features such as a ceiling light with timer, telephone, and anti-slip grey floor.

Travelling at a comfortable speed of .150 m/s speed, the Midilift SL’s single phase-power consumption keeps running and maintenance costs at a minimum.

Stannah’s clear-cut access solution has helped the owners of Birmingham Marriott Hotel comply with all requisite standards and regulations, including Section 4.2 of the Technical Handbook (Scotland), and the Equality Act 2010.
