We provide stairlifts, passenger lifts, platform lifts, goods and service lifts, moving walkways and escalators from our Glasgow office.
Whether it’s a new lift install, refurbishment, replacement, removal or maintenance and repair - we are here to help. Plus we’re always happy to give expert advice on managing lift products and meeting industry standards. We Service & repair ALL lift types from ALL manufacturers
We understand how vital a working lift, dumbwaiter or stair lift is. We provide thorough service visits as part of any lift contract, ensuring every part is checked over and help prevent any unforeseen costly repairs. Although we have over 150 years of lift experience, we’re also very well known for our stairlift repair service. We provide a chair lift repair and servicing for stairlifts both for Stannah models and from other manufacturers on the market. Our emergency breakdown cover service means we’ll fix your lift, stairlift, moving walkway or escalator back into working order as quickly as possible.
Our customers include West Lothian Council, East Ayrshire Council, Aberdeen Airport, IKEA, Pets at Home, Glasgow City Council, Gordonstoun School, Hanover Scotland and all lifts for Network Rail across Scotland.
Lift & Stairlift service maintenance contracts
We offer standard maintenance contracts, designed to suit every need and budget, along with custom service contracts. But we don’t only help contract customers! If you don’t have a service agreement, that’s not a problem, our experienced lift engineers can still help.
New lifts, lift refurbishment & lift modernisation
We also help customers with lift modernisation , lift refurbishment and lift installation projects.
Our product range is broad. From passenger lifts, platform lifts, dumb waiters and goods lifts to escalators and moving walkways, we can supply and install them all. We regularly work with clients, consultants, architects and contractors and ensure we always deliver excellent levels of customer service.
Sometimes maintaining lift equipment includes recognising when an older lift needs new and efficient parts. Our team can provide expert advice for any lift upgrade, delivering reliability and conformance to the latest standards. When a total lift replacement is recommended then we can provide a removal and replacement service too.

Maximising independence for all at Edinburgh Waverley Train Station
Built in 1866, Waverley is set in the basin of a former loch in Edinburgh city centre. One of eighteen stations managed by Network Rail, it is the 2nd busiest railway station in Scotland (1st is Glasgow Central). Stannah supported a revamp of its people-moving capability to better serve an annual footfall currently rumbling around 20 million.
